Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

How do I obtain a subpoena for a printout of text messages on my account? This account is in my name for two cell phones. Believe my spouse is having affair. I was told by someone Messages had to be subpoenaed. Do I need an attorney for this, or do I have other options? Thank you

Unfortunately, you need to file a lawsuit and get a court order. After the wire tapping actions by the Federal Government after 9/11 and the controversy it created, phone companies don't give up phone records without a Court Order.
