Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

my parents have my daughter, what do i do?

I am 17, I signed this piece of paper that I thought was just for medical purposes. Come to find out it was for full custody, the top of the forms said Guardianship\Custody agreement. I asked my parents lawyer if I still had my custody she said yes, then I asked if I still had my rights and I said do I have my parental rights and she said yes. Well then when me and my Mother started to got into an arguement she said that she had custody and that I didn't. Well I got an officer to read it and tell me what it meant and he said that she did have custody of my daughter and I did not. I am not sure what I am able to do. I signed it in January and now it is April. I really want to get her back what do I need to do and what can I do?

You need to file a Petition with the court for a change

in custody. I HIGHLY recommend a lawyer for this purpose.

If you are the biological parent you have a right to do this.
