Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

I pay child support in NC Next month the state will terminate it due to my child reaching age 18 and graduateing high school.THe state law in NC is you do not have to pay child support or college after age 18. My child lives in NJ with her mom. My question is can her mom open up a new claim in NJ for child support when the one in NC terminates or can she go after me to help pay for college.

You need to ask that in New Jersey area, not NC.
