Person dying of cancer partner pushing to marry same-sex so he can control properties and insurance. Can anything be done. Can family do incompetence after marriage or will that be to late?

Can anything be done? Hopefully not. It's his decision, not yours - let him make it. Everyone is dying - just because you are dying quicker because of cancer doesn't necessarily mean you are incompetent to decide who gets your crap after you die. If he does decide to get married and screw you out of inheritance, why would you want to question that and what business is it of yours? If you really want to stop the partner from getting anything, simply ask the dying person face to face not to get married because you don't want to get screwed out of inheritance instead of looking for a legal method of enforcing your will on him.
