power of atty to represent nephew in FL child support modification

What kind of power if atty do I need to represent a nephew, who is a NC resident (I am also) to file motion and to represent him in court hearing there in FL to modify a FL Child Support Order

The laws may be different in Florida, but in NC that would not be allowed, assuming you are not a licensed attorney. People who are not attorneys are generally not allowed to represent others in court proceedings (the only exception I can think of is a rule allowing third year law students to do so). A power of attorney doesn't actually mean that you are acting as someone's attorney-- it's a legal document that allows you to conduct certain types of business on someone else's behalf, like sign a legal document, signs checks for the person, or sell land. Your relative needs to get a Fla. licensed attorney to represent him in Florida.
