Recant signed adoption paperwork

I signed and had notorized adoption paperwork so that my exwife's husband can adopt my daughter. I was wondering if I can recant that or if there is a timeline so that I can stop the paperwork. I don't want him adopting my daughter and I want to stay in her life.

Re: Recant signed adoption paperwork

Under Virginia law, I believe that you have up to 180 days after the adoption decree is finalized

with the court to note your objection/contest the adoption.
