Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

I have been seperated from my wife for over 14 yrs. I want a divorce and she threatened to go after my property, all which I have acquired since we have been seperated. She does not want any of my property as long as I dont divorce her. Is she entitled to any of my property since I purchased every thing after we were seperated?

If it was purchased with your separate income or assets after the separation then it is probably just yours. She would not have a claim. But you have to look at where the money to buy it came from.
