seperation and divorced???

in my state must you be legally seperated before divorcing and if so for how long????

And How soon after a legal seperation or divorce can i live with someone else???

You are separated when the two partners begin to live apart and at least one of the partners has the continuing intention not to reunite. There is no legal requirement to have a written separation agreement as such (although that is always a good idea as regards property distribution).

In NC you must haver been separate for one year prior to filing for absolute divorce.
