Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina
I am currently going through a seperation with my wife. I have started texting with a female who lives 3 states away. My wife thinks that I have been texting this woman before our seperation. She says she is going to sue me and the woman. I have never physically met the woman in person. My wife is just bitter. Can she do this?

Sure. The more important question is will she be sucessful? North Carolina does allow suit for what are know as 'heart balm' claims which is what she is saying she is going to do. You should consult with an experienced Family Law attorney as soon as possible.
