It would take too long to list all the steps necessary but basically, your first step would be to either: 1) draft a Separation / Property settlement Agreement and / or file a complaint for divorce - if you meet the requirements or 2) hire an attorney - like me, to handle matters for you. I do need to point out that you most likely will not be able to simply 'sign over' the mortgage. She will most likely need to refinance the mortgage to get your name off of it. You will probably not want to sign over your interest in the house until she has refinanced.
