Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina
subpoena
I am an intervenor for my daughter in a custody battle without representation. The other grand- parents are represented. I received a subpoena the day after the date of the hearing asking for several items, some of which I did not feel were appropriate. The issue in conflict was resolved by my daughter's and opposing parties attornies. Therefore it appears that there is no need for a response to the subpoena. Do I need to reply in any way at this time. A court hearing is not scheduled until August.

Re: subpoena
Yes, you should respond to the subpoena by explaining how the requests have already been taken care of or provided for in another manner.
