Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina
I want to terminate the fathers parental rights. What qualifies him for that? He has never supported my child nor has spent the night with him.

You would need to hire a family law attorney and petition the court to terminate the fathers parental rights. If the father consents that would make things easier for you. If the father doesn't consent, you are going to have to prove some compelling reason such as no contact with the child for years - not merely not spending the night with the child.
