You can not terminate your obligation to pay child support and you can not terminate your own parental rights. You can choose to be a part of your childs life or not - no one, not even the court has the power to force you to be part of the childs life. If the custodial parent is not allowing you to be part of the childs life, you can go to court to possibly force vistiation or gain custody yourself but there is nothing you can do to avoid child support except for the following: 1) rely on the custodial parent to not go after you for child support or to terminate your parental rights; 2) simply refuse to pay child support and risk going to jail 3) live off the grid and dodge the efforts of the court / child support enforcement to find you and your assets or 4) eliminate the child. While options 3 and 4 might work, they are only listed to fully illustrate all the ways and just how difficult avoiding child support is. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you ever consider doing options 3 and/or 4 as they may be illegal.
