Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

I was told by the child support agent that I am to be in court tomorrow,and that papers are to be served to me for the court date.I have not yet been served the papers,but recieved a notice to come to sherriffs office to pick them up,in the way of a yellow notice posted on my door.Have I been served?
