Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

Hi. I may be a victim on a family abandonment type situation. I feel that a divorce may be requested down the road sometime. What can I do to stop any divorce, if requested .

You are not a victim of 'abandonment' (at least not from a legal standpoint - North Carolina has no such cause of action and if your spouse meets the eligibility requirements, there is not anything you can legally do to prevent a divorce. However, if your spouse has left you then you need to consult with a local family law attorney ASAP who can review your situation in more detail and lay out your options for you - there are likely some things you can do about what you seem to allege your spouse has done - just not any of the things you mentioned.
