Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

my wife and i divorced.i let her keep a car that is in my name as long as she made the payments and paid the insurance.now she has lost her job and says that I have to pay for it.there's nothing written down on this .can i get the car back so i can sell it?

If you have no enforceable agreement with your ex wife...meaning the Court did not make a property ruling and the title is in your name, you should be able to sell the vehicle.
