Depends on what kind of judgment. If this was just a typical civil judgment saying you owe money to someone then the judgement should state the deadline for paying back the money. If you don't pay the money, who ever has the judgment against you may attempt to execute the judgment - meaning attempt to collect on it. If you are what is known as 'judgment proof' meaning you have no assests or wages that can taken to satisfy the judgement then the worse that will happen is the judgment will most likely appear on your credit record - and you can bask in the satisfaction that whoever got the judgment against you just wasted their time and money getting a worthless judgment. If you do have assests or wages, there is the potential for any assests above and beyond your allowed exemptions to be taken to satisfy the judgment.
