Legal Question in Civil Litigation in North Carolina

someone is stealing from my checking account

my personal checking account has numerous checks written to an individual with a memo to trust account. The checks are not signed by the individual but deposited into a ''trust account''. my signature has been forged on these checks and I know who is doing this. I would like to find out the bank that these checks are being deposited into and perhaps the account to which they are going. all i have is the deposit information on the back of the checks. does that contain the routing number of the bank and perhaps the account to which they are deposited. Can my bank help me with this. I do not want to involve the police yet until I find out more about this. Can anyone help. Is there a way I can research this account.

Yes, your bank can certainly assist in answering

the questions that you have raised, but it would appear that if your signature is being forged, and

your personal checking account subjected to fraudulent transactions, that the appropriate law enforcement authorities should be notified as soon as possible.
