Unauthorized ATM withdrawal

My sister has brain surgery on 10-23-2006 and made me her power of attorney. Her boyfriend had her ATM card and access and withdrew $1200 without her knowledge or consent. Is there anything I can do?

I would go to the police station and file criminal charges against him for the theft. Or, if you're feeling charitable, confront him first and demand that he give back the money. Good luck.
