Legal Question in Immigration Law in North Carolina
co-spomsoring an immigrant
If I co-sponsor a friend for immigration and, before my obligations are over, I want to bring to the US my parents. Will this sponsorship affect my ability to do so given that my income is sufficient to support additional people.
Also, is joint sponsor required to appear in the immigration offices?

Re: co-spomsoring an immigrant
Your income must be sufficient to support the number of people in your household, including all the immigrants you sponsor or co-sponsor, at a 125% poverty line level. Usually co-sponsors are not required to appear in the immigration offices.
