Legal Question in Immigration Law in North Carolina

I have a friend who needs help with immigration.

I have a friend who came to the US as a child with her mother 24 yrs. ago. Her mother applied for a Green Card but didn't apply for one for the child. She doesn't know what to do as she was married 8 yrs. ago and can't find her ''husband'' and being she is married, her mother can't sponser her. Please Help.

She can probably have the husband declared dead and get divorced. Let me know if you want assistance dealing with this and the immigration case.
