Legal Question in Immigration Law in North Carolina
My girlfriend came here legally, but now is in an illegal status, because her employer did not renew her working visa. We now live together and have been together for 2 years. I want to marry her.
Will her being illegal in the state of NC, affect us getting a marriage license?

No it wont have an affect on getting a marriage license.
As long as you are a U.S. citizen and she has proof that she was admitted and inspected (presumably she was if she was here under an employment visa) into the U.S. then you can marry her and then can file her immigration papers as the petitioner.
