If you were sponsored by an employer or family member prior to May 01, 2001, and thus covered under sec. 245(i), you may be able to adjust status in the U.S. based on marriage. You can call our law firm at 212-268-3580 during business hours, or email [email protected] for additional guidance.

Additional information to our earlier email: if you entered the U.S. legally, and are in a bona fide marriage to a U.S. citizen, you may still be able to adjust status in the U.S. even if you are not covered under sec. 245(i).
