Legal Question in Immigration Law in North Carolina
I am about to go to the interview for my citizenship and when i pass the test i'll get sworn in. my wife is from jamaica and we were waiting until i become a citizen to file her paperwork. can we send her paperwork in after i pass the interview? will it affect anything if i send my wife's paperwork in before i get sworn in and officially become a citizen?

You must show proof of U.S. citizenship if you are going to petition your wife as an immediate relative. So, you're going to need to wait until you attend the Oath Ceremony & receive your naturalization certificate.
