Legal Question in Insurance Law in North Carolina
Car Accident
How do you get assistance if any, if you were in an accident and it was your fault, the car you was driving wasn't insured? Can you seek assistance from th einsurance company that was assigned to insured the car through th efinance company? Isn't most if not all finance companies required to insure their vechicles if there is not prper insurance coverage by the purchaser? Please help and respond as soon as you can. Thanks !!

If the vehicle did not have insurance on it (i.e. typically a policy issued to the owner of the vehicle), then the only other coverage would be if you are otherwise covered under a policy of automobile insurance (e.g. issued to you on another vehicle). You probably need to see a lawyer.
