loss wages and medical payments
I was hit by another driver that left the scene. The police went to her home and got her after I provided a tag numnber but never charged her with leaving the scene. Now,her insurance company will not cover my loss wages and all of my medical payments because my car suffered minimal damage.

To the extent that you lost wages or incurred medical expenses as a result of the accident, then you are entitled to recover those. You cannot, however, force the insurance company to pay for them, absent filing a lawsuit. You may have more success if you retain an attorney. In cases with minimal property damage, it is not uncommon for the insurer to deny some of the bodily injury claim. You may also have insurance under your own policy.
