Legal Question in Insurance Law in North Carolina

Personal liability

We just purchaced property in North Carolina. The owner is building a path down several hundred feet to a waterfall. This path is on our property and will be made available to the owners and guests of the four other lots in our community. If someone injures themself on this path, can they sue us?

Yes. If someone is injured because of a dangerous condition that you knew of or reasonably should have known about, then you could be sued if someone is injured as a result of the dangerous condition.
