I was fire from my job, applied for benefit on July, and started reciving them, my ex employer appealed the decision, we had a phone hearing, the esc judge Affirmed the previous determination (reason; my ex employer did not summit any evident or witness) and there were no changes made to my benefit, my ex employer appeal, the esc boar review the case and found not errors on the previous determination mainly because my ex employer fail to summit evidence since the beginning and affirmed the determination and made no changes on benefits, now my ex employer is appealing and filling a "Petition for Judicial Review" what should I do? What does it mean?, what is a petition for judical review? do I need a lawyer? Any help please...

A Petition for Judicial review means that the employer is appealing the case befor a county superior court judge. Remember that the emplyer cannot present more evidence at thatbhearing unless that document was not physically available or unknown before the firsr and second appeal. You should hire an attorney.
