Legal Question in Employment Law in North Carolina

At my job I had a problem with my partner and ultimatly we were both moved from our departments. With the punishment and understanding that neither one of us could return to that department or job. Less than 1 month later my ex partner was moved back to our original department and postition. I have not been allowed the same. Is this something I can persue legally?

No, employees are not gauranteed a specific job. Unfortunately, while it may not be fair, it is not actionable just because you were not treated fairly.
