terminated from employment

Can a employer fire you if you had an accident and was out of work for 4 days and the employer called and said come in and turn in your badge, you're fired. Can they fire you when you are temporary disabled.

Depends. If you are an "at will" employee, then yes they can. If you work in a union or have a contract that protects you then they cannot.
