Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in North Carolina
I'm being charged $1080.38 for carpet replacement. This is for the entire apartment. I took pictures of the rooms prior to move out due to previous issues I had with the complex and there are no damages. The carpet was new when I moved in and they say it has 4 years of life left.

I assume your question is what can you do?
Speak to a landlord tenant attorney in your area. It is not legal to charge you for a carpet unless you damages it beyond cleaning.
