Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in North Carolina
Fallen tree limbs
a fallen dead tree limb has fallen on my car. we rent space in this building where our car seats during the day. we called building owner and he said my insurance will pay not him. ....that it is a natural disaster and individual polices cover that type thing. (not even sure if it's considered natural disaster) he also said the city came out and trimmed the tree of any deal limbs. but they obviously missed one. is landlord liable for the damage or am i responsible for the damage that this limb has done to my car??
thanks

Re: Fallen tree limbs
Call your car insurance agent. They should pay the damage repair and then they may go after LL or even the city.
