Right to See Farm Lease?
My wife recently inherited one fourth undivided interest in a farm in North Carolina. The other three-fourths interest (tenants in common) is held by her sister and aunt. My wife has been led to belive that there is a farm lease contract on the farm, but the lessee refuses to send her a copy of the lease. What is my wife's legal recourse?

Why doesn't your wife request that the presumed lessors(her sister and aunt), rather than the lessee, provide her with a copy of this farm lease arrangement----along with a check for her share of the rents/profits which may be due and owing her(your wife) for the applicable time period(s).
