Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in North Carolina

I recently got evicted papers cause I'm two weeks behind which i was two hundred dollars. I went to DSS they said they would pay it and for me to get my landlord to sign it when I get paid which was on a Friday so on that Thursday we got served papers so can I get dss to give me a paper saying they was going to pay it and take it to court cause we was good renters I just lost my job a few months ago but now I'm working would judge drop eviction and let us stay.

Unfortunately, this will not win. To win at this point, you would need to be able to pay both the past due rent and the amount for court costs. You need to speak to your landlord and see what you can get worked out.
