Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in North Carolina

I am renting month to month..I am behind rent..how much notice do they have to give me to move out?

They have to give you 1 week notice unless the lease says otherwise. Once they give you notice and you are not gone, they have to take you to Court to get you out...they can't use self help eviction.
