Legal Question in Military Law in North Carolina

how to avoid a dishonorable discharge

im in the national guard and ive been going to drill (rsp) for about a year now and im scheduled to ship to basic in june, so i havent been to basic or meps to swear in for the second time, i want to get out for good reasons, ive checked the list of accepted reasons and they're all on there, but my recruiter says ill get a dishonorable discharge if i get out before i go to basic, but i am definatley not going to basic so he cant try to scare me into and ive completely made up my mind, is there any way to avoid getting this dishonorable discharge (besides staying in the military of course)?
