Son injuried in iraq. Does he need to get lawyer for medical discharge and his pay is less because of injuries. He is a marine in nc

Your son cannot formally request a medical discharge. However, an attorney can informally submit a request for your son to be discharged from the military. Your son's commander and/or military doctor will have to decide whether or not your son should have to go before a medical board. Your son can have a civilian lawyer represent him before a medical board. Your son can contact me if he needs help.
