Legal Question in Personal Injury in North Carolina

Attempting to settle auto claim

I was hit virtually head on by a lady last April. I have tried to negotiate with the adjuster on my own and am getting nowhere, she is crazy. currently she is offering medical($10,000) Time lost from work ($1300) and P&S ($4700). I've done an MRI, PT, Injections and still do not feel %100. I may have future epenses because of this. She also adimantly claims that bulging discs could not have been caused by the wreck. I am 26, and have never experienced any back pain up until this accident. What do I do? Shoul I settle? Should I go back to the doctor for more documentation, possibly more treatment? I want to settle this and be done with them, but at the same time, my back still hurts and the pain does limit some of my activities.

Get an experienced personal injury attorney right away. You're walking through a legal mine field. Don't do it alone. If you do not know an attorney, Google the NC Bar Association find a lawyer referral service.

Good luck!
