my brothers Daughter was hit by a car while in my care, can he sue me?

If you were negligent (if you caused the accident), your brother can sue you. But he will usually only be able to file the complaint with your insurance company. Your insurance will go up, but you won't have to pay out of pocket immediately. If she was not seriously injured you may want to offer to pay her medical bills so he won't sue.
