Legal Question in Personal Injury in North Carolina

car accident

I was in an accident May1,2006- I was told to hire a lawyer. So I did(a tv lawyer). I am going to fire them, but if I do will another lawyer take my case?The reason for firing them is that they tell me the only thing they can do is try to get money for my med. bills. IThe lawyer there is telling me if i want to sue for personal damages I've got to hire another lawyer.I don't know what to do, Please help,I've lost everything.

If you have a meritorious case, then you can probably find another lawyer to take the case. You may or may not have an obligation to your first lawyer to compensate him in some manner, depending on a lot of factors. You may want to begin discussions with a new attorney.
