Who should I contact first, my Homeowners Insurance carrier or the Insurance carrier of the vehicle that crashed my fence on my property?

Insurance carrier of the driver who crashed through your fence. You can notify your homeowners but make it clear that you are not filing a claim. You do not want this counted against you. Too many claims and your homeowner's insurance can decide not to renew your policy.
