Legal Question in Personal Injury in North Carolina

I was rear ended in an auto accident in NC, but I live and am insured in SC. I have soft tissue injury (sciatic nerve) which will require physical therapy and lost wages of 1 week. Can I be compensated for my lost wages and also pain an suffering? I have good PIP coverage and medical coverage at work for the medical bills.
