i am about to settle acar wreck case for fifty thousand dollers my attorney tells me i have to pay back medicade 37.5 percent of my settlment is this true or can i get around this and also some unpaid doctor bills i dont want to pay at all c an i get around this

That sounds correct. Medicaid has a "lien" on your settlement. It sounds as though your attorney is taking 25%, and the balance is being evenly divided between you and medicaid.
