Get a restraining order against him. You mention that he is "soon to be" your ex-husband. In that case, you are nearing divorce. Do you have a family law attorney? If not, I recommend that you get one. If you cannot afford an attorney, contact Legal Aid and see if you qualify for assistance.

When he calls, does he threaten you with harm? If so, you may be able to get a 50B (domestic violence) order against him.

If you think he would respond to a letter, I can send him a letter on your behalf for a reasonable fee. That may let him know that you are serious and that if he continues, you will seek legal action. I will only do this if he will not be enraged by the letter. I do not want to escalate his behavior. If he is that dangerous or mentally unstable, then I would try the 50B or civil no contact order.
