Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

Bank has no loan documents. How do I void loan? I never signed anything for this loan. I inherited the property through a will. The bank just changed the name and now I am on the hook for $105,000. I have requested documentation via the RESPA, but have received a letter stating they don't have the documents. What do I do next?

Call a lawyer. You have a complicated issue on your hands that needs to be handled correctly. Keep in mind that if you inherited property that had a mortgage on it, the mortgage is still valid...just not in your name.
