Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

Claims of Liens North Carolina

I was just notified that a Claim of Lien has been placed on my property. What are my rights to have this lien removed once I pay off the fees? I am not familiar with the Lien laws in North Carlina. Can you help?

Thank you for your help.

Re: Claims of Liens North Carolina

If you don't get any answers from NC attorneys and need to re-ask the question, it might help them to mention what kind of lien is claimed, if you know. It may make a big difference if it is a tax lien, a judgment lien, or a builder's/mechanic's lien or maybe some other kind we don't have here in CA.
