Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina
we are trying to close on a lease option that is due the end of April but the seller is refusing to sign the VA addendum and continues to tell us that if we are unable to close for any reason they get the property back and all the money and improvements. Does that include their unwillingness to sign the addendum so we can get the appraisal complete?

Unfortunately, it depends 100% on the documents you signed. Have a real estate or contracts attorney review it. This is one reason why I hate lease option deals.
