Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

''deed help''

I am having land surveyed in N.C. to be divided between my sister and myself (inheritance). After it has been surveyed we will need to have deeds in our own names (the surveyor said he doesn't do that). What would be the easiest and cheapest route to obtain deeds? Can a title company do this? Would a lawyer charge me and arm and a leg? thanks for replies.

Re: ''deed help''

The representative of the estate must provide both of you with a deed which then must be filed. It is not a complicated matter & should not be expensive however there will be county fees due. Good luck.
