division of real property after divorce in NC

My single friend bought a home 7 years ago in NC. She later married. Her husband's name is not on the deed or the mortgage. They are divorcing. Can she sell the house without him signing documents? Is he entitled to any of the money?

I can't answer the question about entitlement of money - she would need to consult a divorce lawyer, but if he is not on the deed and she is divorced - then he does not need to sign anything. It is important to distinguish between divorced and separated but getting a divorce. In the latter case, he will need to sign a document if she attempted to transfer the property.
