Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

My father die over 20 years ago and my mother has remarried and I have two more brothers. My father's father left 10 acres of land. And I have been trying to get my uncle's to run the land out and give my brothers and myself our father's part. I can't seem to get them to do anything (also all the prime land on the front that is already cleaned my uncle's say that belongs to them and the part that is in the back not cleared that's the part he said we will get). Is that right and what I needs to do?

Get a real estate lawyer to do a title search and he can then tell you what everyone owns. Will cost about $400 to have this done. Get your brothers to help you pay for it.
